We are so very glad that the client walked in and entrusted the brand to us. The name was already in place and it rhymed with a very successful company in the hospitality sector. Where we worried? Not at all. The two brands were competing, at least for the time being, in two segments and are unlikely to cross swords in the near future. Stay Forever lends a nice ring to the new brand. The visual identity has stayed in our minds forever too, after all it's a house. BnB rents out clean rooms for students or anyone on a shoe-string budget. Rooms that one can stay forever, if one wishes to. They already have a hundred rooms and hoping to expand to about ten times more in the next 12 months. We will stay with them forever.
Probably, one of the first movers in the co-living space in Trivandrum. Even though the market is in a nascent stage, expectations of both our client, a start up, and its customers were pretty pedestrian. So it was a leap of faith when we made the identity which has been a clever play of inverting homes to form a B – placing of the two windows makes it a perfect one. We have used pleasant colours but have used a typeface which goes excellently well with the identity. A distinct typeface that fits well with the category/offering. Unlike others in the space, this client is clear about the offering – just a basic room and amenities and nothing fancy and certainly no frills. Makes business sense for a start-up as cash is king. And conserving it when you can is certainly the name of the game.
